Course Syllabus
Human Anatomy and Physiology is the course that incorporates a case study which is introduced at the start of each session. This case study will follow a hypothetical patient required to undergo various diagnostic modalities for a medical condition.
For each session, we include information relevant to that modality and the basic scientific principles, hardware and technology, and clinical applications.
In Session 1, Human Cell and Tissue
In Session 2, Skeletal System
In Session 3, Circulatory System
In Session 4, Respiratory System
In Session 5, Nervous System
In Session 6, Digestive System
In Session 7, Excretory System (kidney)
In Session 8, Muscular System
In Session 9, Excretory System (Urine formation and analysis)
In Session 10, Blood and its Organelles
In Session 11, Reproductive System
In Session 12, Lymphatic System
In Session 13, Immune System
In Session 14, Endocrine and Exocrine System
Each episode will include several short quizzes which will not contribute to your final grade and will help you understand the key points.
To complete the course, the assessment is a marked quiz for each session that will contribute to your final grade, plus a final assessment called Assessment Scenarios at the end of the course. Assessment Scenarios involve reviewing 2 case studies/scenarios and answering questions related to basic concepts in the biomedical field.
