The Introduction to Biomedical medical course incorporates a case study which is introduced at the start of each session. This case study will follow a hypothetical patient required to undergo various diagnostic modalities for a medical condition.

 

For each session, we include information relevant to that modality and the basic scientific principles, hardware and technology, and clinical applications.

Program Agenda

 

Day 1

Session 1 – Introduction to Biomedical Engineering

Session 2 – Hands-on demonstration on Basic Medical Devices (5 Para Monitors, 3 Channel ECG Machine, Electrical Stimulator (TENS), Fingertip Pulse-oximeter)

Session 3 – Role of Electronics behind the Medical Equipment (Practical Flow)

 

Day 2

Session 1 – Demonstration and Hands-on testing of Diagnostic and Therapeutic Medical Devices like Phlegm Machine, Infusion Pump, Syringe Pump, Hammer, and Manipol Massager, etc.

Session 2 – Human Anatomy 4K Model dissections (Practical)

Session 3 – Biomedical Job Scope and Case studies on Equipment Selling and Servicing.

 

Course Fee

1. Individual - Rs 2200/- for Indians and $30USD for NRI (Foreigners)

2. Group Registration from the same institution (minimum 10 members) - Rs 1500/- and $30USD for NRI (Foreigners).

3. Institutional Registration (minimum 50 members) - Rs 500/-and $07USD for NRI (Foreigners).
